Dane County Sustainability Campus open house set for August 5

The Dane County Department of Waste & Renewables, Vandewalle & Associates, and other project partners are inviting members of the public to the first interactive workshop on the Sustainability Campus on Saturday, August 5th from 11:30-2:30 pm.

This workshop is being held specifically for neighbors and others located closest to the Campus developments.

The workshop will allow participants to discover the opportunities the Campus holds for our local community to innovate and advance our local waste management and recycling systems. The public can share ideas for creative reuse operations, recycling businesses, educational programming that could be offered at our Campus. Various interactive stations will be available, along with opportunities to meet the project team. 

Parking for event will be at 3663 County Hwy AB, McFarland, WI 53558. Accessible parking will be available at this event off Femrite Rd.
