A number of Comprehensive Plans, Comprehensive Recreational Plans (CORP), and Plan Updates that were prepared with the help of the Vandewalle & Associates planning team have now been adopted in communities around Wisconsin.
By taking a look at communities in a big-picture way, these plans help to identify land uses, current and projected needs of the community, goals, issues, and resources.
The plans gather input to create a vision that gives voice to what the community wants to see for its future, and can identify opportunities for new projects or initiatives.
The adopted plans are then used to help guide future decisionmaking in the community.
On April 17 of this year the City of Manitowoc adopted both its new Comprehensive Plan as well as its newly prepared CORP.
Two other communities also completed the planning process and adopted their prepared CORPs in recent months. These included the City of Edgerton on April 6, and the Village of Windsor on May 18.
