BELOIT, WIS. (EXCERPTS FROM WCLO.COM)– Beloit is now conducting their 12 month process to update the comprehensive plan, which was last updated in 2018.
Members of the public will be getting an opportunity to voice needs and future vision at a project kick off meeting taking place at Beloit city hall, via an online survey, and at a booth at the Beloit Farmer’s market on July 8th.
City Planner Hilary Rottman says the comprehensive plan–being developed with the help of Vandewalle & Associates–takes a long term view of the city’s future and makes recommendations for policies and strategies that will help realize the community’s vision in a variety of areas.
More information on the project can be found by visiting the city’s website, and on the Beloit Comprehensive Plan project’s Storymap-style website.
