VERONA, WISC.: The new Ice Rink at Century School Park is making this new area of the downtown vibrant all year around.
The ice rink is a temporary installation that the parks department installs over the city’s new Century School Park great lawn in winter months. It has been open to Verona residents and visitors since December 7, 2024.
The rink is easily accessible to the adjacent downtown and neighborhoods, helping enliven this area of the City. The ice rink is served by the park pavilion which sells skating tickets. Nearby shops and a restaurant overlook the rink in the mixed-use development that was a companion piece to this Vandewalle & Associates park design project.
Century School Park offers ice skating hours from 4 pm to 8 pm Thursdays and until 9 pm Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays the rink opens at 11:00 am, until 9 pm on Saturdays and 6:00 pm Sundays. Skates are available to rent if needed.
