STEVENS POINT, WIS. — Stevens Point has approved a new vision for an area of downtown with a Targeted Area Master Plan developed with the help of Vandewalle & Associates and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Stevens Point.
The plan looked specifically at the Downtown over the course of about twelve months in 2018-2019 and provide a long-term vision and many high-level recommendations. These recommendations provide a framework under which additional planning and decision-making may occur, as well as a logical sequence of actions that ultimately serve to implement the community’s long-term economic development and quality of life goals.
