Working out of V&A’s Milwaukee office, Lead Associate Planner Jackie Mich heads up a wide range of redevelopment and implementation projects in the Greater Milwaukee area.

She also leads the team in comprehensive planning, park and open space planning, and transportation planning.

Jackie brings to every project strong experience in community planning and zoning assistance, redevelopment and economic development implementation, and project management.

Jackie provides project management management to a long list of implementation projects in the Village of Slinger including the Downtown Slinger Vision & Strategy, reinstitution of the Redevelopment Authority, and creation of Redevelopment District No. 2.

She has served as project manager for neighborhood revitalization efforts on behalf of LISC Milwaukee including market analyses for the Fond Du Lac & North Area, the Clarke Square Neighborhood, and the Near West Side, and directed marketing/communications materials for the King Drive Business Improvement District.

Jackie’s team completed ten-year Comprehensive Plan updates for the City of Greenfield, City of Lake Geneva, and the City of Brookfield, and is currently working on Comprehensive Plans in the Village of Shorewood and City of Altoona. She has led park and open space plans in Sun Prairie, Fontana, Delavan, Slinger, and Cross Plains.

Over her decade with the firm, she has served as interim city planner the cities of Franklin, Whitewater, Lake Geneva, and Monroe, provided current planning services for over a dozen communities in southern Wisconsin, and completed three full zoning ordinance rewrites.

Jackie has been part of a number of complex projects as part of the consultant team on the Madison Beltline Planning and Environmental Linkages Corridor Study, the Highway 51 EIS, and Stoughton Road EIS. Her work in transportation planning has included visioning and public participation efforts in support of Madison in Motion: The Sustainable Madison Transportation Master Plan.
