Two downtown Manitowoc streets will soon be two-way. Here’s when the change will happen.
MANITOWOC, WISC. – Both Eighth and 10th streets in the city of Manitowoc will begin the process to be converted from one-way streets back to two-way streets. “Thank you to all who helped make this a reality,” Mayor Justin Nickels wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday. “The next chapter in our city is taking place where we began 151 years ago — along the shores of Lake Michigan and the Manitowoc Rivers — in beautiful Downtown Manitowoc!” According to Nickels, people will be able to start driving both ways on the two streets by September 2022.
