More housing could be coming near McGaw Park throughout the next decade.
The City of Fitchburg Common Council approved a comprehensive development plan request for a development south of Nobel Drive adjacent to the proposed St. Ambrose Academy site in a meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 9, an early step in the lengthy process of development.
The request came from Brian Munson of Vandewalle & Associates, Inc., an agent for Fahey Land, LLC, and Fahey 5370, LLC, which has been working in tandem with Veridian Homes on the development proposal. The entities will have three months to put together the comprehensive plan for council.
