
JEFFERSON, WISC. (Excerpts from Watertown Daily Times)— The City of Jefferson common council adopted its Comprehensive Plan created with the help of Vandewalle & Associates, and will pursue redevelopment and infill of underutilized lands as it follows recommendations contained within until 2040.
Potential redevelopment projects include the city hall parking lot, Riverside Alley, the former Tyson site, and downtown streetscape and alley improvements.
Jefferson continues to forge ahead with development on the east side of the Rock River downtown and to the far north, and on Tuesday stepped farther into its visioning when aldermen approved the Comprehensive Plan designed to take it to 2040.
