WISCONSIN: Vandewalle & Associates has been asked to complete a number of Comprehensive Plan Updates for communities throughout Wisconsin. A comprehensive plan is a local government’s guide to community physical, social and economic development. The plan does not serve as land use regulations, but provide a rational basis for local land use decisions with a 20-year vision for future planning and community decisions.
According to the Comprehensive Planning Law, the document must include issues and opportunities; housing; transportation; utilities and community facilities; agricultural, natural and cultural resources; economic development; intergovernmental cooperation; land use; and implementation.
