EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) –The Eau Claire Redevelopment Authority (RDA) approved a 60-day extension for negotiations regarding plans for the district’s developments.
Economic Development Manager Aaron White requested a proposal to bring on the consulting firm Vandewalle & Associates out of Madison. The company will provide help determining the best use for the property in the Cannery District. The company will also participate in the Cannery Trails Residences, Inc. proposal for multi-family residential and affordable housing.
“It’s a needed commodity in the community,” White said. “Obviously housing is a big, hot-ticket item for discussion across the community. So, it’s a very timely project to be looking at as well.” Full article here.
