STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN: An open house will focus on the Downtown so the public can participate in the Asset & Opportunity Analysis, ask questions, & get the latest on the planning process. The event will take place May 23, 7 – 8:30 pm, MSTC Community Engagement Rm., 1001 Centerpoint Dr., Stevens Point.
After soliciting community input during a visioning and listening session on January 17, the Redevelopment Authority and consultants from Vandewalle & Associates have developed a series of draft recommendations and design concepts based on detailed study of each Target Area.
After a brief presentation of the draft concepts at 7 pm, the rest of the open house on May 23 will be held in an informal “drop-in” format, allowing participants to provide additional written and verbal feedback directly to City and consultant staff on the draft recommendations at a series of stations. All opinions are welcomed and will be respected.
