JANESVILLE, WISC: The Wisconsin Chapter APWA (American Public Works Association) announced this week that the Janesville Town Square project will be receiving the 2019 Project of the Year at the Spring Conference being held on May 9th, 2019. The selection committee has also forwarded the project to the National level for consideration of a National Project of the Year award. Vandewalle & Associates developed the conceptual design and worked with Strand Associates Engineers to implement this project, which reworked Janesville’s downtown riverfront from former parking lot into an attractive community gathering place and activity centerpoint.
