EXCERPTS FROM JSONLINE.COM: Golf fans will have a new and unique option at Ballpark Commons. A facility called the Luxe Golf Bays that will be part golf, part entertainment will join Ballpark Commons, which will also include a baseball stadium for an independent professional team, stores and restaurants, apartments and more.
Ballpark Commons broke ground on June 7, 2018. The project is located at The Rock, an outdoor sports facility at 7900 Crystal Ridge Road.
Luxe Golf Bays will be a three-level entertainment center with 57 heated open-air bays overlooking 215 yards of turf. It will also include two locally-branded restaurants, according to a news release from ROC Ventures, the developer of Ballpark Commons.
The development will also feature a four-season beer garden called the Hinterhof — German for backyard, according to Mike Zimmerman, CEO of ROC Ventures. The beer garden will separate the two restaurants. The restaurants will be run by a local hospitality group. Full article and graphics.
