FROM THE MCFARLAND THISTLE–As part of the 2018 budget, the Urso Schuetz Park, which boasts a dog park and several paths, is expected to undergo a multi-phase expansion project to bring more recreation activities to the village. The village plans to put in an 18-hole disc golf course and expand the dog park on the south side of the park. The Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Committee recommended the Village Board accept the master plan as presented at its October meeting.
