
FROM THE DAILY JEFFERSON COUNTY UNION–The City of Jefferson’s Economic Recovery Plan, created in response to the mid-2016 closure of the Tyson Foods’ plant, was presented to residents during a public meeting Tuesday afternoon at Jefferson City Hall. The session included a presentation of the recovery plan and open discussion to allow for feedback. Jolena Presti, principal of the Milwaukee office of Vandewalle & Associates Inc., the city’s longtime planning consultant, went over the Economic Recovery Framework, which gives a general overview of the Economic Recovery Plan.
