
FROM BIZJOURNALS.COM–The city of Racine may spend $13.2 million in a long-term campaign to revitalize its Uptown neighborhood with improved housing, new commercial development and public spaces.
The strategy in Uptown is similar to what the city has done in the Rootworks area along the Root River, where the Machinery Row redevelopment is advancing, said Racine Mayor John Dickert. Read the full story here.
