AMERICAN PLANNING ASSOCIATION-WISCONSIN CHAPTER–The Village of Oregon Sign Code has been selected to receive a 2017 planning excellence award from the American Planning Association – Wisconsin chapter. Of the award, the jury commented: “This is a very exciting project that will have lasting effect on the City of Oregon. As community’s ordinances are challenged using the Reed ruling, Oregon will become the template for other cities.” The award will be celebrated at the APA-Wisconsin Chapter annual conference, October 26-27, at the Hilton City Center in Milwaukee.
