The monthly meeting of the South Metropolitan Business Association on Thursday, August 16 is featuring presentations on Alliant Energy Center Campus plan updates by Scott Harrington of Vandewalle & Associates and Mark Clarke, Executive Director of Alliant Energy Center.
The Alliant Energy Center is a 164-acre campus consisting of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Exposition Hall, New Holland Pavilions, and Willow Island. AEC Executive Director, Mark Clarke, will describe the impacts the 500 annual events hosted by the Alliant Energy Center have on our local economy and quality of life. In addition, Mark and Scott Harrington, planning consultant with Vandewalle & Associates, will share the progress being made on the ongoing planning processes for transforming the Alliant Energy Center campus and surrounding properties into the region’s next great destination district.
