MOUNT HOREB, WI: On Oct 24. residents of Mount Horeb can attend a valuable “Ask the Expert” session exploring ways to reinvigorate the downtown using Tax Increment Funding (TIF). The interactive session will help owners, developers and businesses learn to take advantage of this powerful financing and economic development tool. Presenters Steve Grundahl with Midwest Prototyping, Randy Littel with the Village of Mount Horeb, and Scott Harrington of Vandewalle & Associates will be guiding participants through the opportunities, benefits and steps to harnessing TIF funds in ways that can energize and attract businesses back to the downtown. The session will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the upper level of the State Bank of Cross Plains, located on Springdale St. in Mt Horeb.
