JACKSONPORT, WI: The Jacksonport Parks Committee is applying for a Knowles Nelson Grant for its Lakeside Park Development Project. In an update in The Green Bay Press-Gazette Dan Johns of Vandewalle & Associates talks about the many support letters for the grant. Part of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Fund is available each year in the form of grants to local units of government and nonprofit conservation organizations. These grants help fund land acquisition and recreational development statewide.
