FROM MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JOURNAL: The Machinery Row redevelopment project in Racine will be advancing beginning with the demolition of vacant industrial buildings near the Root River. The Machinery Row project will rehab two large industrial buildings into 150 apartments, a grocery store, restaurants and stores. Parts of the buildings will be demolished, and the city will build a public walkway along the Root River.
