
MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JOURNAL–“The city of Racine kicked off a $65 million redevelopment project June 10 called Machinery Row, one of five re-development projects slated for downtown Racine as part of its RootWorks plan.
” ‘But the Machinery Row project wouldn’t have happened if not for the state passing the Historic Preservation Tax Credit, and receiving early planning support from S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. and CNH Industrial,’ said Mayor John Dickert.
“While much of the financing of the project still needs to be worked out, the Historic Preservation Tax Credit will likely be part of an overall economic development package that will include federal, state and local funding.” Read full article.
