On Dec. 10, 2012, East Dundee trustees gave preliminary approval to embark on a public/private effort aimed at the rebirth and revitalization of the downtown. Vandewalle & Associates developed the original plans for this riverfront revitalization, and is managing this two-phased implementation process.
