MSUM selects Madison-based arts team partnered with V&A architect Dean Proctor for new public art space

For its new public art space, Minnesota State University-Moorhead’s art committee and Forecast Public Art selected the Madison, WI-based collaborative ‘actual size, partnering with architect Dean Proctor. Together they designed a clever lighting and gathering space, entitled Sown, a metaphor for human aspirations and endeavors. The project features a focal seating area and customized “acorn” lighting fixtures that appear to be growing on the quad.
